Starting a Business Week1: Ideas

Now that you have decided that you want to start a business its time to take the necessary steps in order to make sure your business not only gets off the ground, but it beats the failure gauntlet. According to SBA 95% of all businesses fail in the first year . By year three 4 more percent have failed. So you only have a one percent shot of making it. Let me say that again YOU ONLY HAVE A ONE PERCENT SHOT OF MAKING IT.
So now that you know the odds its my job to help you defy them . So lets get started

Ideas are the beginning points of all fortunes.

Was Napoleon Hill on to something ? I think so, you see your idea is your dream to a better life and future. But if not treated right your ideas can stay just ideas, so lets get to work. This week you will be developing your idea as much as you can.

Tools needed for this week : Pen, notepad, phone, computer

Objective: To expand your idea as much as you can till you can't do it anymore. When you feel like you can't develop this business idea anymore then just think that this is your potential next job so it needs your honest attention and development on daily basis.


questions to help you in this weekly task

What is your target audience?
How will you get paid?
What is your medium of distribution? In other words how will your idea get to the consumer.
Why is this the best idea?
In three sentences what is this idea about?
In ten words what is this idea about ?
What can the user do with(your site,Product ,or service)?
How does your site,product or service help the consumer?
Can this idea last 100 years?
Does this idea have the ability to have spin offs?
Does your idea create trends or benefit from them?
can you systemize your idea? Meaning can you create a system that will allow someone else to come in your place and run the business.
What is your idea philosophy built on  ? Does your idea ask your customer to come or our you serving your customer?

These are just a few questions that you can ask yourself to help you develop that idea.
After you have brought your idea through the wash couple of times and fill you can not develop it anymore at this point its time to number your developments one being the more important.

RECAP: Develop your idea as much as possible . Write it all down!!! Order them and you are done.
